It is the dreaded tax return season in the USA and in a bid to cheer people up, Trident chewing gum have launched a new tool that instead of helping you audit your finances, looks at your Facebook profile to see just how much fun you are having.
It’s called the Funaudit and it pulls in information from your Facebook profile including photos, posts, likes and comments to paint a picture of your life and just how happy you are. When you start the process using Facebook connect to log in, it mixes your life story with the actual advert video with every story being personalized to the end user and submerging them in to the advertising itself.
We’ve seen plenty of these sorts of campaigns in the past that utilize video and Facebook connect and they usually get lots of traction online given how fast they spread via the news feed. The production values on this are very good, but the interaction within the video does lack a little compared to other campaigns. I found myself getting a little bored with the concept having seen it so many times, but this will still end up being a success in my opinion. Go on, give yourself a Facebook audit.
